MODEVA

ModEva is a range of numerical control units intended specifically for sheet metal working. According to the software installed, it will be used on synchronised or unsynchronised press-brakes of the up-stroking or down-stroking type.

                                                                                                              Data Sheet.pdf

ModEva numerical control units can control up to 18 axes of which 2 are synchronised hydraulic axes especially intended for press-brakes.

The numerical control is composed of 2 main elements:

- the programming console

- the CNC (Computerised Numerical Control).

The programming console is located within the operator's reach, generally fixed to a swivelling arm; the CNC is placed inside the electric cabinet.

The CNC is available in 2 rack formats.

- The rack version C

This is a small, very compact rack, convenient for many situations.

- The rack version M

This is a bigger rack permitting a varied combination of configurations.

The software enables manufacturers to configure the axes, the inputs/outputs and the auxiliary functions according to their needs.

Versions

PS: Version for synchronised press-brakes.

PC: Like the PS but for press-brakes with mechanical (or hydraulic) stops and beam control with a linear measuring rule.

P: Like the PC but without beam control with a linear measuring rule.

PP: Version for folding presses.

ModEva CNC /C ModEva CNC version "C" (Compact): can control up to 4/6 axes or even 18 with CAN axes*.

ModEva CNC /M ModEva CNC version "M" (Maxi): controls up to 12/14 axes or even 18 with CAN axes*.

2- 14 axes Numerical Controls for conventional or synchronized press-brakes.
     3D color graphic display.
     3.5" Floppy
.
     Network (LAN) capabilities.

The numerical control DNC 900 incorporates all the know-how and technological expertise of CYBELEC.

Designed with the operator in mind, this numerical control allows substantial gains in productivity. New, simplified functions make the programming process fast and easy. Simple and ergonomically designed screen pages enable the user to get rapidly familiar with the numerical control. The 2D / 3D colour screen displays the range of optimal bends according to the criteria defined by the operator or the Production planning office. These criteria correspond to real needs such as: Minimum length against the operator, minimum returns, swivels or swings, maximum accuracy between two defined faces, cutting error on a given face, flexibility etc. Any possible collisions are immediately detected.

Easy to use, graphical interactive tools let the operator define or change the bending sequence, back gauge positions or the bending station to be used. The numerous other functions, such as "unfolding" mode, "stretching", forced bends, 3D rotation of the view from all angles etc. greatly simplify the work for the operator.
An angle and material correction table gives the DNC 900 unequalled ease in bending precision.

The DNC 900 has been destined essentially for hydraulic, synchronized press-brakes or for press-brakes with mechanical or hydraulic stops. Equipped with the appropriate software, it can also control folding presses and other applications.

Networks.

Like all the numerical controls of the 80, 800, 90 and 900 series, the DNC 900 can be easily integrated into a local area network such as Ethernet.

General characteristics

The numerical control DNC 900 uses state-of-the-art technology, customized ASIC integrated circuits, multiprocessor architecture, SMD components and a modular concept, which guarantees outstanding reliability. This same modular concept allows the ulterior addition of axes or new functions. The standard version of the DNC 900 manages up to 8 axes and functions such as crowning, pressure, etc. In the rack version, the DNC 900 offers the same functions as the standard execution, but it can manage up to 14 axes.
